Didn't see a general thread, so thought I could as well make a thread for general hotlapping stuff..

-------------------

Thought this was a bit funny,... after first round of laps with all tracks we have pretty close battle with my friend for the Dallara RSR Pro Rank:

So that is after;

5.245km mugello
4.909km imola
4.085km vallelunga
5.901km silverstone
5,793km monza
7,004km spa
4.307km zandvoort
tot.37,244km
->> which makes it 0,0012619 secs / km!! :D Can it get any closer?

edit, anyone tried this car? It's quite easy to drive, but get's fun at the edge! :)

I downloaded it but have yet to install it. Not a big fan of modern open wheelers but it looks so good I have to try it.

So I managed to install it tonight. Intended just to put in a few laps to get a feel for it at Vallelunga and ended up running for an hour or so. Beautiful car that responds extremely well to tuning. I managed to get down to a 1:31.2 but I'm pretty sure I can get into the 30:s with some more tweaking. Still getting a little push on entry in some corners.

It's surprisingly forgiving. You can get all bent out of shape during hard cornering and still recover although it costs you a lot of time. Maybe it's just the track or my aging G27 but the only fault I could find was that I didn't seem to get a ton of FFB through the front end. I might try turning up the road effects for that car to see if that helps, I think I have them set to a generic 10. I noticed they are running a server too so I might give that a spin if I can find it.

Just downloaded this car today. I'm not really an open-wheel fan but this car is great fun!

Ran a handful of laps at each track and here's where I am at the moment. Very impressive times up front you two. 👍

Seems that the lap times suffered with the camber fix.. didn't have too much time to test before had to leave for Christmas, what is your experience ? The few cars I tried changed so that the rear would love a lot more easily, especially on the Dallara F3. I ran max neg. camber at back I think and I guess that was the reason..

Would be interested to hear your thoughts on this.. Didn't try, but maybe less camber at the rear would have cured the oversteering habit?

Really happy the RSR guys took off the softs and the hards and only the "real data" mediums are now available for the RSR F3. Also, the leaderboards were reset (for this car), which is always a good excuse to do some hotlapping :D

Happy with this lap (even though there is still time to be taken, as there always is..) and I have to savior this moment, it won't last long. Paolo will no doubt be on top very soon again.. :scared:
