My question, how are many of you guys getting your copy so early? Am I able to waltz into Gamestop and pick up my preorder?

I only ask because Friday seems to be a bad weather day (Ice...) and I may not be able to pick up my copy...

It's people that have got their pre-orders shipped early.

It seems mostly to be central Europe and the far east to be getting them early though.

Although, those videos from last week were from Bahrain & Pakistan, shop owners over there clearly don't give a f:censored:!

The rep i have wrote to at gamestop/ebgames told me that european providers have infringed Sony's embargo outright. Should report them?? Maybe not but how unfair this is...

Should you report them? Why... the only people who are 'losing out' by the game shipping early are the ones simple enough to get jealous over not getting the game before it's legal date. Some retail companies do this as a service, some do it by accident, whatever. When a little game called 'Test Drive Unlimited 2' came out, I paid an extra £10 to have mine shipped about 2 weeks early. That was provided by a very small and private retail company.

To some it's more than just a game, it's part of their life and a way of expressing who they are and what they like. That's why it's a touchy subject and why so many take it so seriously.

Seriously, in this specific case the release was supposed to be december 6th worldwide. Even critics about the game cannot be revealed at the moment until friday. I'm saying and seeing this business wise. Sony supposedly asked not to ship and or release the game before friday. Yet, some people are playing the game as we speak.

It's still a game even though many of us, including me, take our game play more seriously than others.

Hello I am New to Forum but not new to GT from Ayrshire Scotland.

I'm hoping the small independent shop I pre-ordered from might sell as it is not unknown for other local big stores to breach launch dates. Otherwise My day off tomorrow will start early(:
