How can I get my time up for the SMS-R events?

Guys,

I'm driving lap after lap and it never stops. Ok, so that means that I just go out normal, it asks me if I want to exit and save my progress, I click x (PS4) for Yes and the saving symbol comes up for a couple of seconds.

But when I then use the square button to see where I am on the leaderboard it says "You haven't recorded a time on this leaderboard" or something close to that.

So how do I get on it? Is it only allowing a certain number of people on it and my time is too slow or what am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance,

Andreas

I'm getting that, sometimes the times will appear later on, other times they don't appear at all, must be a bug

That means you have the same problem. Can anyone else tell if he is able to constantly lock times on the leaderboard and describe what he does differently please?

After you do your run and save and exit, exit the event back to the main menu, then go back to the event and see if your time shows up. If not, it's possible it's an issue with PS4 not updating the leaderboards quickly, so try again in a few minutes or a couple of hours. If you've done that already or do it and it doesn't show up, report it in the Bugs and Glitches Thread.

Did exactly what you described and still I don't get an entry in the leaderboard. Here's my video with the best time of 55.752s for the Renault Clio (I did F1 before and same problem there):

And yes, I know my driving can be improved a lot. Tips are always welcome ;-)

Happens to me to. Not sure if my times have never been put up but I've noticed it can take 5 or more minutes to update

Must be a bug then. Add it to the Bugs and Glitches thread. If you can possibly record it happening, including the part about backing out and then checking again, that would be even better. 👍

Ive had some problems with the leaderboards not uploading my times, but it allways showed up 15mins later.

Also, I believe if you use restart session during the timetrial, it forgets your quickest lap! Something to take note off...

Yes. That is important. You MUST use exit for your times to count. The game does give you a warning message about this.

That's what I always do, use the "x" to exit. I've come across so many glitches today, races without sound, same for free practice last night, an AI car crosses from left to right into pit lane and I can drive through him as he flashes and vanishes etc.

I'm paid to be a beta-tester for them, I'm astonished how many bugs there are still in there despite the huge project delivery delay. But then again the basis of the game is good, not like Driveclub which sucks completely. So looking forward to get it fixed, as for this thing, I'm not landing high up in the standing anyway ;-)
