How can I reset my game?

I played GT5 a while back and just recently got back into it. I'm weird when it comes to starting in the middle, so I want to reset my data and start my career mode fresh! I've done this before in GT4, but this one doesn't have that option in the game.

I tried going through my PS3 and deleting the data, but all that did was delete my updates. When I turned the game on again, it took a few hours to dl the updates and then my game was still where it was at.

Is there any way I can start fresh?

Just delete your save data. Not the game data and you'll be back at day one.

Delete the files in the "Saved Data Utility". The file size should be around 1 MB. It's 3 MB for me which means some people might have it at around 5 MB.

As per above, game save is stored in the "Save Data" folder.

Don't forget delete the backup too
