I did some swapping on a 1967 Mercury Cougar XR-7, and I did swaps on it.
The swaps were:
Ferrari race car suspension
GrandTurismo Ford GT Test Car engine, gearbox, drivetrain and anything else engine related.

GrandTurismo formula car chassis.

How can I improve my grip and hp? WHAT AM I DOING WRONG? HELP!!:nervous:

Only suggestion is don't do this. No talk of this stuff on GTPlanet please.

Adjust the gears for the wheel spin. IF your a dragster, you should know what to do.

I use the normal RS tires and have no problem.

You cannot adjust grip. That exploit has been removed in 2.14. If you are looking for better grip you will need to swap to a chassis with better grip.

I know this will make me sound like a total noon, but what is this swapping? Is it done on the PS3 version? In what game mode is it done?

Hybriding, hacking, cheating... Whichever word you want... Don't discuss details on this site guys.

If you want more grip, camber, anti-roll bars, and toe-in/out are probably not set correctly. More traction? LSD. More braking power? Sorry, can't help. Feel free to go to Tuning Forums.

Well, considering GT5 is a PS3 Exclusive, yes, it's done on the PS3 version.
Also, no talk of this stuff on the forums, it "in a sense" violates the AUP.
Just another warning on this thread.

Still works, but it is done different than 2.11. Can't be discussed unfortunately though.. But there are other sites that discuss it.
