The question's in the title, why does it seem so difficult just to get your music to play while racing? I've got my music playing when I'm in menus but when I go into an Open Lobby it goes back to the GT5 music. When I looked in the how to it said something along the lines of "If you want to hear your Personal BGM while in online lobbies you must set "Voice Quality" to "Disabled"." This option is not in the audio section of the options in GT5 or in any options on the PS3 itself.
My mind is boggled :dunce:

Thanks, that works if I'm in my own lobby but it still plays the GT music when I join an Open Lobby room. Is it even possible to listen to your own music when in someone else's open lobby?

I have been in a online lobby and had my music transfer over, and I noticed every time it does it, it so happens to be a room where no one has a mic on. I believe if you go into a online lobby and noboby has there mic on, sometimes your music list will carry over into the room, but this only happens on occasion.
