How do i tape my replays on tape?

Hi, First of all..

I'd like 2 ask how do i tape my replays onto tape?

If u guys don't know what I'm talking about, then i'll explain it a little better... Ok, What i want 2 know is how 2 play a replay from my Playstation and tape it using a VCR onto tape.

That should b more simple.......

Connect your PS to the Audio/Video inputs of your VCR. Then select the line input on your VCR (usually there is a button on the remote labeled input, or something similar). Insert a tape, push record, and start the replay. HTH. :)

Hmm, never thought of doing this.

When I want to get screen shots (using a device which connects TV or S-video or composite to my PC USB port), I nearly always make a videotape first, because it's easier to back-and-forth a videotape than a GT replay.

j2s: Yeah, most VCRs just suck.

risingson77: Pretty good explination. You should think about becoming a technical writer.

Eddy: Not much of a "thinker" are you? (:

TakumiAE86: Welcome to GTPlanet!

LoudMusic: :)

j2s: Digital to a poor analog device. You can expect to pay upwhere arounds $2000 USD and up for a good VHS recorder.

risingson77: Don't you ever get tired explaining what a RCA cord looks like and what the different colors mean? ;) Or....do you ever get this question: "How much will it cost for a surround sound system?" It's like asking, how much does a computer cost...

Okay I get alright pictures from an SLP recording of a TV show.

I have a set of pictures I thought I'd remembered grabbing from a videotape of a GT1 replay; thing is, I remember taping several runs of the replay with different views.

But maybe I didn't use that tape after all?

The thing is the pictures still have those black bands on the left and right. Would those have recorded onto the VCR, or do those bands clearly indicate that I grabbed directly from replay?

Should appear soon at:

I've done this, saves memory space on your card. Plug your video audio cables from the sony to the vcr. Set the vcr to auxillary or input and record. Worked perfect. good luck.

this really isnt a GT2 question, its actually a Multi-media question and a no-brainer if you asked me.

and Welcome TakumiAE86

You can also plug your PSOne or PS2 into your PC using a good capture card which cost between $30-$60 for basic but good card to around $70-80 for a USB device. Spending more money isn't needed, it only increases processing speed, unless you willing to spend over $100.

Besides capturing GT in action, you can tape from Cable or anything you can input into the S video or RCA input.Your sound goes through the sound card. The better the card, the more options you have.

You can save your replays into Windows Media, Divx or Mpeg-1/2 mode. WMV, Real Audio or Divx would good for sharing on the net. SVCD would be good for playback on a PC or DVD player.

You could really make some nice music vidoes....
