how do I tune my car to make my tires last more than 28 laps

Include more information please.

What car ?
What tyre compound/s ?
How long is the race ?

If your car is tuned posting these settings would help also such as the LSD and suspension especially the toe and camber.

ill give u a few things that shoul help but not my whole setup...aero 25/45 LSD 35/60/45 camber .5/.7 toe neg 0.25/ neg 0.20 ride 10/15....thats all im gunna give should help lots will do 33-34 laps running very hard providing u make it a point to run 7-10 laps on the highline (THE HIGHLINE IS OUR FRIEND! SO IS NOT TRYING TO LEAD EVERY LAP)....if u take it easy running mid pack letting off going into the corners ans spend lots of time hugging the wall u can get 37+ ...have done 38 NVR HAD TO DO MORE....this is on a 2011 kyle busch car...hope it helps...btw when i say take it easy i don't mean lose the draft just play with the throttle a little (HALF THROTTLE DOWN THE BACK STRETCH-LET OFF ENTERING THE CORNERS ETC)

aero at 25/45 will slow you down stick to 20/40 would help more, the nascars are heavy so they like to slide no matter what tyre you have. percision is the key and high ride height, stiff spring rate camber and toe are your key to tyres lasting more. The toe over camber as I run 0.0 front 0.2 rear camber to balance the tyre wear.
I can run 35 laps low and/or mid line around the track 45+ high line with a good drafting pack fuel is the big issue to these nascars with no draft 35 laps empty tank.
