I've been hearing about this car being the best in GT5 and I was wondering, how do you get it?

its the worst car in the game...when you drive it your not racing...your just driving a x2010 & people get in your way on the track.. the X2010 should only be allowed to be in 1 make car races like the F1 cars.... the x2010 is the cheap easy button...IMO. i have one of each but never use them...its no fun

Kidding aside, you can only get it after level 30. Once you're level 30 you can win it in the Vettel challenge (not easy). You also get one for free when you reach level 35 B-Spec. Once you're level 40, you can buy it in the new car dealership for $20,000,000.
From March, 3rd, these will be the only ways to get one. Otherwise, you can check the Marketplace and see whether anyone is willing to trade it while it's still possible for something you have, and they want.
That's it.

You can buy it at level 40 for 20,000,000 credits.
You can win it by completing the Vettel challenge which unlocks at level 30 (at least a bronze on all of the events...good luck with that).

Even though everyone else got you the answer, I'll provide one anyways.
They're 4 ways to get it:
> Trading via Marketplace, with friends, or with strangers. If no one has an offer or that you don't want to trade, ask someone to dupe theirs to you before March 3rd (March 3rd = 1 million Cr trading limit. This limit applies to trading as well).
> Do the Vettel Challenge. This is the mere easiest, but the challenges is near impossible. If you have the determination, skill, & confidence to do it, then go for it. Make sure you know that you have to reach bronze, silver, or gold on all the challenges to get one (you receive the S. Vettel on bronze, a simple painted X1 on silver, and a Carbon X1 on gold. Getting silver or gold will also receive the car before it).
> Reach level 35, either A or B -Spec They'll give you an X1 for free. Not sure which one, though.
> You can buy it. You unlock the reveal version on level 30, but you can only purchase it on level 40. The car is under Gran Turismo if you don't know which make it is.

These are fun in online races. Then it comes down to driving skill because all the other cars will be a X2010.
