How do you obtain the fiat 500

Depends where you live, but there's a sticky link at the top of the GT4 board to both an NTSC (For North America and Japan) and PAL (Europe and rest of world) Used Car list, which'll tell you not only when each one appears, but how much you'll have to pay for it, how many miles it'll have on the clock and even what colour it'll be!
These lists took the compilers a long time to produce so that we don't keep having to answer "where do I find this car?" type questions.
Please find whichever one applies to you, download it, and be happy!

You know what I found? I used the NTSC list, and the dates weren't really accurate. For the first 700 days, it's accurate, but after that, the dates are messed. I would find (for ex: ) April 3rd to be the day I will buy another M Coupe, but I would not see it then, but days later, when the next one comes.

---EDIT---

Nvm, I think my marcos jsut wasn't working properly that day. lol.

Theres only 700 days in a car list cycle so i don't know what you mean by "after" the first 700 days.

i've got all three - but i think the 500L is the best - you get cooler bumpers and you're still eligible for the pre 1970s races

if you get the 500R from 1972, you get more power-to-weight, but you won't qualify for the classic competitions

Just a guess but I think he means the second cycle of 700 days...which is after the first 700 days :sly:

And then, naturally, the DATES would change.

April 3rd in Year 1 is day 2 (Week 1)
April 3rd in Year 2 is day 368 - as Year 2 is a leap year (Week 52)
April 3rd in Year 3 is day 733 (Week 4)

Since the cars cycle in weeks (though week numbers are NOT displayed in the game) it's not surprising that you won't find the same cars on the same DATES, though they always (probably - only one or two possible differences have been noted to me so far) appear on the same DAY in the 700-day cycle.

Well it would have been much easier if you had mentioned which version of GT4 you were playing (US, Europe, Japan) and which Fiat 500 you were looking for (there are 3- the F, L, & R).

On the off-chance you might be playing the US (NA) version, here is a very condensed list of the cars appearance dates in the Historic Showroom, courtesy of Tornado Alley's list found here. None of the Fiat 500's can be won as a prize car.

If you missed the day you want, just add 700 and that's when it will appear again (or 1400 or 2100...).

Yes but it's still *after* the first cycle of 700 days...whilst the cycle remains, the dates on which the "beginning of the 7-day cycle" days fall on change
