PMing (now called Conversations) can be done in several ways:
Hover your cursor over Inbox on the top right of the screen, between your username and your alerts and click 'Start a New Conversation.' Here, you can enter in your recipient's name, the message subject and body, and send!
Alternatively, you can go to someone's profile, click on Information and click 'Start a New Conversation' under the Interact heading.
