How do you simulate rolling/boom shots?

I thought it was impossible to take shots like this in GT5 due to the car "rotating" as it went by a static camera, but I've seem some pictures here where people seem do accomplish it quite nicely. What's the secret?

In GT5 they added more panning modes, where as in GT4, it was just a static, handheld like camera. To get rig shots, select either panning mode 2 or 3 when shooting in a replay. Panning mode 2 will add a little bit more shake to the front and back occasionally, where mode 3 will keep the car fully in focus. (most of the time anyways, sometimes with extreme movement like a curb hop, it'll blur still.)
