Holy crap - three drivers within a point! What a finish!

...and I'll be pleased no matter who the winner!

Loeb - new young star, has had some fantastic rallies
Sainz - one for the older blokes, I remember him dominating in the Toyotas
Solberg - another rising star, really enjoys his rallying, and of course he drives a Subaru!

I know. :) 👍
I wonder what all the people b*tching about the points system earlier in the year are saying now. :mischievous:
I for one wouldn't want Loeb to clinch the championship, just yet. Solberg will forever be my #1 driver. And Sainz hasn't had the joy of a WRC title since '92, and he truly deserves one this year.
I'd party indefinitely if Solberg could pull it off. :D

go citroen go!!!

solberg one GB last year if i remember.... we might end up with a tie!
that'd be intersting.
i dont thik seb has the experience to win GB so it'll be sainz or solberg i think. but i'd like seb to win :)

Should be really good. Rally GB is a great season-finisher because it's a real tough one. Shame the calendar is changed for next year.

The rain sure has mixed up these asphalt rounds, hasn't it!

I'd like to see Solberg take it. I've got something against Citroen that I can't quite put my finger on.

I'm really glad Burns is out of it! And if Solberg wins the title, that will make for an interesting atmosphere for the lanky sod at Subaru! Heh heh!

Damn straight! Its not Citroen I dont like, its Loeb.

I hope Solberg takes it, Subaru have been in the dumps in the last season or so, so it will be a nice turnaround for them. And Solberg is a happy-chappy, so no-one can begrudge him a title. Sainz, well, he needs to go to Japanese school, so he can learn to smile.

Im just glad Burns wont win the title- seeing as he hasnt won jack this year.

Much as I like Burns (sorry Giles) I'd like to see Solburg or Sainz take it this years.

Solburg, simply because it amazes me how much bad luck one guy can have and keep smiling, watched the 2002 review again last night and how he kept going last year was a testament to his skill. I mean, his steering wheel nearly came off!!!

As for Sainz, he's driven excellently this year and defied the Jurnos who wrote him off at the end of 2002. Just hope he does not have a repeat of the last time he got this close. No more helmets through the back window Carlos.

BTW - good call on the B&W's Giles, got a pair myself. Lovely things.

I dont get why ppl dont like loeb :confussed:

its not like he is a "bad guy" or sumfin. I think it's because he is a new guy to the wrc (tho he is been in the rally scene for ages).
move with the times ppl

He looks like he belongs in a Guess! jeans commercial. And he is cant be bothered to learn Englais.

Loeb is good..but Solberg is my star!

Go Peter!

All three drivers could win Sainz, Loeb and Solberg as for Burns..he is done.. his performace sux so far

I think it's going to be alot of crashes going on.. many retirements

Solberg for me, although I wouldn't completely write off Burns, as he has won Rally GB 3 times (but then they were in a Subaru.) I think Solberg will win though. Go Scooby!

I've not heard of a more bizare reason for not liking someone. and in my own personal opinion (which could be wrong) the second reason you gave sounds a bit racist!:odd:

Absolutely. Solberg and Martin are really good for the sport in that they're clearly in it because they love it. The other "new guy", Loeb, is clearly very quick, but a little lacking in charisma.

Re the B&W's, I haven't had chance to give them a proper workout yet, but they're already massively better than the Bang & Olufsens they replaced. :D

Seb does speak english, actually. You try to speak a second language and make it understandable for everyone. At least he's trying.

I really, really would like to see Solberg or Sainz win it. They both deserve it a lot. Burnsie's ain't out of the picture yet, if all 3 guys wreck and he wins. Uhh, nevermind.

Sarchasm.

1) The French arent a "race", they are a nationality.

2) There is a contrast between "good-looking" and arrogance.

3) As for not learning english, or trying to learn a second language, he should be well aware that the sport is broadcast to a large english audience - and it would help to include them when he gives post stage comment.

I personally bet on Carlos Sainz. (Ah! He's Spanish, I'm Spanish, it's ovius (spelling?)).
But he is the most experieced in rallying, and the RAC isn't a rally where only wins the fastest. It's a rally where the mind can make someone win or loose (Just remember the scene: Sainz and Moya (co-driver) with the Corolla stopped in the middle of the way to "boxes" after wining last track).
GO CARLOS!!!
