How good is the fully tuned FTO LM?!?

Well, with my project of getting all the prize cars I finally managed to pick up the FTO LM from the Dream Car Championship.

I got a nice black one, changed the oil and popped the top level turbo on it - makes about 960-970hp.

Took it to Complex String, lowered it, stiffened up the suspension, popped the ASM and TCS off, maxxed the downforce and took it out on soft slicks.

...and it ran under 4 minutes (by about half a second) like it was nothing - it was a good clean lap, nothing special.

This thing is fantastic - fantastic traction, light and chuckable chassis. I can't believe there haven't been more plaudits for this car!

Not only is it good onl the road, Take the turbos off and run it in the dirt. It will decimate any thing the AI sends out to get you.

I did buy some dirt tyres for it - I might win a second one and set it up as a rally car...

I do like the FTO LM, as well as the Altezza LM. I haven't used either in a long time though... But I really liked the FTO LM from GT2 also. That was about my favorite on GT2!!

Anyway, does it really run well in rally, too??

It is not the best LM available.

The best looking LM to me is the RX-7 LM. Got it on black. Modded up to 960 hp, and it kicks ass.

The Subaru Impreza Proto LM is good too.
S2000 LM too.

The FTO LM is the one I have not touched yet.

fto lm is awesome. i didnt know you could race it in rallies, but ill definetly give that a go. but i agree with tercel, the rx7 lm is the best lm. it kicks ass. but the fto is pretty damn good too.

Give the FTO LM a fair shake. Way back in GT1 this was my go to vehicle. Very light, agile, and stuff your eyes into their sockets fast, when the top turbos are added. I have yet to try it in Rally mode, but I'm going to give it a a go.

Blue rx-7 w/ yellow rear view mirros is BEST!

yea vat, the FTO LM is awesome. it's the car i conquered most of the enduros with. i also got it in black. very nice looking car. loved watching the replays.

I really enjoy the FTO LM. It's a stout car. I find myself using at least its drive train when I hybrid a car. If the dimensions are close I will use it's chassis also.

Sorry guys but from what I remember from GT1 the FTO in GT3 is a dissapointment. I mean its a great car, but not like I remember it.

Fully tuned and with some work on the set-up, I reckon this thing rates as one of the top 5 cars in the game (but then I only got the two Polyphony F1 cars in my version) - I was a big fan of the GT1 version, but this thing is one of the few GT3 cars that's actually quite happy with well over 900hp.

Probably - my tip is get it as low possible, stiffen it up - but the thing that does it - a little bit of toe out at the rear - it tidies up the turn in and improves the grip. Of course with 900+hp you can run full downforce!

If I remember I'll post my settings for the little fella - managed to get him around the Complex String in under 4 minutes! Trust me - this thing's a beauty.
