Come round a corner at high speed over a slightly elevated kerb on the inside...or just come round the corner at break neck speed lol. Ah I remember when it was so easy in GT1 to wheely round a corner

You have to hit the inside curb or rumble strip. GT4 won't let a car lift a wheel for any combination of acceleration, braking, or cornering forces - it just won't do it. It will only go airborne in response to track bumps.

ah...it wasn't my impression :dopey: ..because I tried each type of setup but I can't manage to do that...only if I ran the car over a kerb :indiff:

Yes, PD don't provide enough spring rate range to do that normally. In GT2 you can do it with 20.0/0.2 spring rate in RUF, I am sure you can do it in GT4 too (if you can set the spring rate to that value).

hey buddy,

i had the same question. lol, i wanted to do it with a front wheel drive car, and lift up one of the rear wheels, but its sheer impossible, without hitting the curb....i dont know why gt4 doesnt let the car go airborn on a wheel....??

In GT2 you can make FF lift inside rear wheel with 0.2/20.0 spring rate. Same, GT4 do not provide you with enough tuning range.

Looking at the pic it looks like it's at MT Panorama.. But anyways, that's a V8Supercar and it would never be able to lift a wheel like that unless it hit a kurb or was on a section of the track with quite a gradient, as Duke said..

But, in terms of GT4 I saw a pic in one of the Drft Photo Comps the other week and it showed an White Mitsubishi Evo drifting with the Front Right wheel slightly off the ground.. the photo what taken from the front..

Can't remember where about it was, though, and if the car had been over a kurb or bumpy section of the track.

ok, i wanna see that pic, cause i trying the whole time, to make a wheel lift without hitting something.

oh ya, by the way, the stupid MIDGET II is so bad, cause when you reach about 70, and you fully turn, it will lift a wheel!!!
