Got my first mail account in October 1992, on the Sun SPARC network at University. Newsgroup access quickly followed, and I remember playing with, and designing for NCSA Mosaic v0.55.

My current site retains several of the design elements of that first site - indeed, three of the words on the top row of buttons are the same today as they were then.

Wow ... that's pretty cool. I remember Mosaic, but I don't remember where I was using it. I dig the SPARC network, that's pretty awesome. I bet it wasn't cheap either, back in the day ... A friend of mine has an Ultra1 and an Ultra10. Nice workstations.

I first used the `Net 92. All I remember is that it was Jr High School.

First dial-up we had was E-World, which was on our Mac, which we got ~7-8 years ago, then we upgraded to AOHell for a few years, then got DSL for the past few years on our new computer.

strangely enough, GTF was the first forum i joined. then the winamp forums, then this.

i started back in early 99, when we moved the PC upstairs to my room. it hads a phone line, so we put on the internet. now when i'm bored i pop on here for about 3-4 hours at a time. sad, i know. but it's fun talking to people who you don't know!

before we got the internet, we never had a problem with the PC. but since then, i've rebooted the PC bout 5 times, replaced the hard drive 3 times, but we still have the ****ty 56k modem

and because i live in a village, i have no chance of getting broadband. maybe i'll move into banbury just for it
