How long's it been since you've seen an ad for the S-10?

About a year for me. Maybe more.

Why do they not advertise for the S-10?

I see ads for them but not a lot. But I guess GM figures that since its one of the best trucks out there it doesn't need ads.

Maybe because it's a cheap little truck that they don't have any problems selling.

I don't know - I don't see very many new S-10's on the road. I had nearly forgotten about the model, but I drove by some Chevy dealer today and they had some on the lot (yellow, nonetheless).

Of course, if they had selling problems with it, they would've cancelled it by now. That said, the Astro is about the worst van out there, and it hasn't been cancelled yet.

You said you didn't see any new ones on the road. How can you tell?

Wear and tear. Wheels. Colours. Extra cab where applicable. "CHEVROLET" on the rear gate. It's not impossible.

Take a trip to redneckland, they're everwhere, new and old If I coulda gotten in one, I woulda gotten one as my first vehical.. It woulda gotten some offroading goodies too. What can I say, I'm a redneck at heart. I wish I had pictures of some peoples faces, when they saw that I took my MX to the top of a mountain, on what is considered a very offroad trail. I think next summer, and/or after I graduate from college, I'm going to build an offroading car. Get like an old eclipse, (cheap, 1st gen AWD), jack it up a little, put beefier tires on it, maybe ditch the hatch and rear interior for rhino liner, and put some custom brushguards/lightbars on it etc.

Because maybe GM is too embarassed about the styling of the S-10, and its previous facelift sucks, I like the '95 version better. I'll just wait fot the next S-10 to come out.

I just saw a commercial for it, lol. Maybe not just the S10, but it was in the commercial for GM vehicals, and was included. IMO, the current S10 looks great. Of course I wasn't used to the facelift when it just came out, but now I like it better than the last.

since australian GM dealers dont sell the S10's here id have to say ive never seen one!
