How many actually qualify?

How many of you actually qualify before a race?  I never do.  I think it's a waste of time because I'm usually in first before the first turn of a race.

I never qualify because like you said, I'm usually in 1st beofre the first turn. I qualified one time just so I could say I've done it, but never again...


I sure as hell will NEVER qualify for a 2 hour endurance race

I qualified at first just to get to know the course but not just to get in 1st place but now that i know the courses no more messin with qualifyin

The only time I have ever qualified was back in the day of low HP and lack of funds to build a car.  I therefore needed an advantage which starting Pull Position was just enough to win the race.

I haven't qualified for a very long time.

it's pole position. and I do it sometimes on the closer races, like the vitz races.

Nope not me, my car has amazing acceleration so I dont need to.

Yes - you are so correct. It is Pole Position, that would be the correct term.  Thank you so much - I have seen the error of my ways.  I will pay much, much, much, closer attention when I make my postings to be sure that terms used from GT3 are correct and exact.  

I would like to know if I could email you every post that I would like to make for your editing before I post them.  I think it would do the whole board some good, actually, if you could edit everyone's posts for accuracy.  I'm sure Josh wouldn't mind if you were the official editor for the GT3 Forum instead of the Un-official editor.

I qualify on the races when i haven't raced on that track in a while and im up against some tough cars. That way it's kind of like a practice session because either way i can't be in a worse position than before.

I use it as a practice session, to tune up my car. I also let some of the cars catch up with me an see how they drive...

yeah, exactly...i never thought of sizing up the other cars though.
