i'm relatively sure (nice oxymoron) that there is already a thread on this somewhere, but anyhoo, i got 181.

I have between 80 and 90 cars. I have just about all the prize and special race cars and all the American muscle cars. I just love that big heavy iron

A little off subject, but do you usually keep backups of those memory cards or is there little issue of memory cards getting corrupted? Now that I've put enough time in the game I worry about all the cars I've acquired (60 cars I think) plus the events I've won.

Thanks

I've only had that happen twice, both times after a prolonged (more than 4 months) dry spell of and PSX-ing. I regularly start both cards up and play around for a while, then save and shut them off. No problems.
I'm inclined to think it's got more to do with your system than the cards anyway, because Burnout's PSX screws up anything you put in it, and it's got some other problems. My machine can read cards that his has already said were corrupted, so go figure.

Once I get to 80-90 cars, I start a new game. I have 5 game saves, so there';s about 450 cars between them. I also have a save with about 50 hybrids, and copies of some rare used and prize cars.

I think I've tried about 98% of all the cars in the game. There's some keis and Skylines and duplicates I've never bothered with.

you know, i really need to get around to backing the stuff up - one day it will corrupt and end in tears with all my good settings going to the great big gravel trap in the sky :(
