How many possible names are there to choose from and do they come randomly or are they in an order and just cycle?

Enough I think. I find this actually stupid. You can choose your own name, but than have to select out of thousands preset names, the ones for Bob??? It doesn´t even makes the game faster, since you sit there like 30min looking for the right name for Bob Nr.X...boring.
