How many people run the Seasonal Drift Trial?

Is there a way to see how many people ran the seasonal drift trial? I can only see my ranking and the top people. It would be cool to know how my score relates to everyone and not just the top people. I know there are at least 20k because my early attempts scored really low on the score board.

There's a few threads already covering this I believe.

In my opinion the scoring system is ridiculous and doesn't count what it should, that's why I only tried the trials once, and it made me laugh really hard.

Agreed the scoring system is pathetic to say the least. But the only good thing about the Seasonal Drift Trails now is that you get credits. 1 million per drift trial if you get "gold" which is cake for the GTP drift population.
 
I only do the seasonal drifts events to get the money now... I didn't do any of them until the money was added on... The first seasonal events were just for "bragging" rights - but just like the guys above said, the scoring is pretty ridiculous...
 
The scoring is just weird, but I love it for ONE reason. LOTS of credits! :dopey: One drift trial, if you get gold, is 1,000,000 credits, and I usually do both. I end up spending all those credits tuning EVERY SINGLE car in my garage!
 
Lol. Yeah, the scoring system is ridiculous. I haven't played any other games with drifting so I don't know if other games have a better system. I guess it's another thing for PD to improve on.

So, no one knows how many people are ranked? I might use my brothers account next time and make a really low score so I can see how far down it goes (approximately)

I tried my luck on my earlier days on GT5, but i simply quit after load a replay from the best scorer in the seasonal.

I just denie to follow "that way of drift" to achieve a good score.
So, for me, the seasonal drift event is FAIL.
 
i used to go on, but i eventually got bored and just went online to drift with cars on the track....seems more fun....the highest i ever got in the trials was around 1500th place cant remember exactly tho
 
i do them mainly for the credits.. outside of that i don't really care about the ranking. simply because every one uses the same care the leader has. i consistently get in the lower hundreds with my vehicle. i know i can attain the top of the charts by switching to the same car the top of the leader boards are using.. but i don't do it simply because i don't want to be a cop out. imo i think they should have a specific vehicle for everyone to use. this way the comp is fair. i also think they should have a separate leader board for controller drifters and wheel drifters.
