I'm am up to 260000cr and I own a partially upgraded mustang.I'm thinking about buying the Corvette Z06 or the black Viper.Which one should I get?

p.s Is it just me or do the cars look alot better in the garage than at the dealership(as far as graphics)?

First of all I HATE all american cars. So dont buy any of them. i feel this hatred towards them because of their ugly looking insides on all their normal street models. Japanese cars do everything with quality and their cars are better.
I didnt have much time to play but so far i have the Subaru Impreza Sedan Sti with some minor soup ups and around 10,000. I am not far in the game at all.
See ya later.

I don't have much cash in the game yet since I have only had it for a few days..<<Newbie>>  But if your looking for a good all around car pick up the Audi S4.

Having drove an S4 in the past and now own an 1.8T this car is all around Bad Ass..  Back in GT2 the S4 would bring home the gold for me just about every time.  Of course there is only so much you can do with this car before it just wont keep up with the pack such as the Skyline and all but hey at the level I believe that your talking about now its the best of the bunch in my book !!

I have only about $2000 dollars in my savings and probably about $7000 in stock options if that counts.  I think I may have about thirty dollars on me right now.  Oh, and I have a credit card if that means anything.  It has a $10,000 credit limit.  I have only one car and its a 1976 El Camino.

I now have nothing saved but, I just won my first race in the amature circuit the series race and won the Rx7 RZ which I was going to buy but you can only get it in white but when you win it it is Bright Yellow!  So I bought the RX7 RS and I got the beatle first Total winnings are about 100k.

I got 1,200,000 credits, and have such cars as:
Toyota GT1, 3 Camaro Race Cars, Celica Rally Car, Corolla Rally Car, Gillet Vertigo, Opel  Astra Touring Car, Beetle Cup Car, and a lot more. The funny thing is that I won all my cars except for the 1 car that I bought: Lancer EVO VII.

Hey Guys,

GT3 is one of the best games I've ever played. Sweet car designs and it runs sooo fast! Anyway here's the cars I got:

Ruf CTR2 863HP Fully Tricked
3000GT VR-4 1085HP Fully Tricked
Falcon XR8 Race Car 954HP Fully Tricked
Mine's Lancer Evolution VI(J) 514HP Stock
CR-X Del-Sol SiR(J) 165HP Stock
Zonda C12S 543HP Stock
Supra RZ(J) 1061HP Fully Tricked
Viper GTS 1090HP Fully Tricked
Mazda MX-5 Miata(J) 130HP Stock
FTO GP Version R 319HP (J) Halfway Tricked

Not to bad huh? :P Right now I have $16,396 on me and I've completed 11.2% of the game. For all those that think I cheat I DON'T!! This game is MAD hard and I've been playing it on and off since 10:00AM July 11 when I got it. The hardest part of the game I'd have to say is during the beginning when your stuck with $18,000 and a choice between a 128HP and 150HP car. I picked the 128HP (trueno??) and raced Sunday Cup until I could afford the FTO. Raced some more with that and souped it up. Raced yet again on some more difficult races that pay about $5,000-$7,500 until I could afford my GTS. Finished souping that up and started collecting cars from other races. Still don't have my Viper Concept Car though. Can Anybody tell me how to prevent you'r car from losing horsepower over time??

Peace,

I haven't experienced that yet but I know that there is the place where you buy rims, get car wash's and get oil changes.  So maybe you need to get the oil changed?  I have already.  There is a meter for how long your oil is good for.  Otherwise I do not have a clue.

Well i have won over 350,00 in prize money and have these following cars.

Camaro SS
CR-X Del Sol SiR
Corvette z06 (676hp)
Audi TT 1.8t qualtro
Acura RSX Type S
Mazda RX-7 Infini 3
Vitz RS 1.5,
Acura Integra Type R
Silvia K's S13
Mazda Mx-S Miata

Many of them have engine upgrades also.

Ya I've been giving it a Wash and changing the oil after every race and it still went down on me?? The only real hard driving i've done on it without changing the oil is a 100 lap endurance race. It has about 570 miles on it. Anyone know how to fix this??

I have about 200,000cr as of right now and i am currently using  the Subaru Impreza STI and its fully tricked out with about 600 horsepower and it tops out at about  216mph.  This car got me as far as the high-end IB licences now and i just boughgt the Jaguar XJ220 and WOW!  the power in this car is great and its a wide car also.  Please give it a try and let me know what you think.

ive got about 30 cars right now but the best ones ive got are:

2 FO90/s indy cars (720 hp)
Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak Version (1811 hp!!!!!)
Corvette C5R (948 hp)
Lotus Esprit Sport (1008 hp)
Nissan Skyline R34 (1071 hp)
Aston Martin ? (the really expensive one) (960 hp)
Camaro Race Car (950 hp)
Gillet Vertigo (968 hp)

those are some of the cooler cars i got and i have about 1.5 million in the bank. basically all you gotta do is get your rally liscence and supe up a nice subaru or skyline, go win all the rally races (40k per three race circuit and a nice bonus rally car that'll get you about 80k when you sell it). if you win all the rally races, you win the escudo pikes peak v. (which has aweful handling but can get up to a cool 297.6 MPH, and does the 400m in 8.4 secs!!!!). after that, your set. i recommend doing the endurance races, even though they take forever, its worth the car you win and the cash.

Ive got 330,000+ credits right now and:
Focus Rally Car- 529hp
Citroen Rally Car
Peugot Rally Car
Lancer EVO VI Rally Car
Celica Rally Car
Integra Type R
Lancer EVO VI TME- fully loaded
And a bunch of other cars that are stock with 0.0 on the odometer

Car list:
F087/s
F090/s
RUF RGT-1000+
Mustang Cobra R- 700+
Tuscan Speed Six-600+
RX-7 LM Race Car-900+
Nissan R390 LM Race Car-1200+
Pikes Peak-1700+
Mazda 787B-900+
ZZII-900+
Impreza Prototype-500+ (weak)
CL55-590+
Z06-stock
Miata(the cheap one)-not worth saying
Viper Team Oreca-900+
All the licenses (S class liscense made me put gun in mouth) No Viper Concept yet, im workin on it.  Any hints on how to get it?

ive got 0 cash, cause i just bought the Z06 to race in the Polyphony Series in Pro league.  Also, that formula race at the end of Pro league is extremely hard.  Email me if you wanna chat about GT3.

I have 1,001,192 credits and have the following:
Suzuki Escudo- 1792 hp
Porsche RUF-modded all the way
Z06 corvette modded all the way
S2000 Race Car
1983 Celica- oh yeah!

You guys have some way cool cars but i might have better ones

My top Ten Best Ones are:

Polyphony 001 - 889hp
Poluphony 002 x 2 - 812hp
Pikes Peak Escudo - 1881hp
Viper Team Oreca - 1015 hp
GT One Road Car - 1068hp
Corvette C5R - 1032hp
Calsonic Skyline - 922hp
Falcon XR8 - 954hp
Impreza LM Race Car - 965hp
787B - 984hp

I have done 79.0%of the game

I have 22,678,538 Credits

The American Cars are ok but not the best. The F1 cars are the best cars. The Escudo is the bestto use on TEST COURSE. The ****test cars are the FF Cars, they are slow and **** anyway!!

Well before my ps2 died I had about 8,000,000cr and about 35 cars. A lot of them were won...Some were bought for drifting purposes. I've noticed a lot of people have super high horse powers...granted extreme hp can be fun from time to time but c'mon there's no skill...You can win 80% if not more of the races with under 700 horses with relative ease. I actually like a relatively close race...Puts more realism in the game...You don't see a car leading by over 30 seconds after the first ten laps.

I think I have about 12Mil credits last I checked and just under the 200-car limit in the garage. I bought or won at least one version of every car in the game. I even broke down and got a PT Cruiser when I added several other cars I didn't have.

Maybe I'll sell it, so I have every car but that thing.

SKILLZ: On the Z06 vs Viper, it depends on your preferences. Both are FR NA American cars, so they'll be eligible for the same races. Might want to go to arcade mode and try out both on free run and see if you like one much better. You can also buy them in Sim and try them out before saving.

Viper > Corvette in all ways excape handling / braking, which 1000+ bhp will help you overcome regardless.

the game i have loaded on my card (old one) has $82,000,000+ and 140+ cars.

Hey, I dont think SKILLZ can use your advice. He only has 30 posts, and he posted this question on July 18 2001. Odds are, he hasn't been to this sight for about a year and 2-3 months.

before my restart I had about 15 cars (sold heaps of cars) and about 4 million Cr.....

now:
PT cruiser partly modded to about 230HP
crx vti non modded
and about 3000 CR

I've been playing GT3 for a week, about an hour a day. Yeah, a newbie.

I have 43,500 credits and 2 cars:

White Miata (J) with stage 2 turbo
Phoenix Yellow Civic Type R, stage 1 turbo.

The Miata has been my breadwinner and a pretty decent starting car. I did the Spider/Roadster "Deep Forest" race about 10 times to make enough money to get a Daihatsu for the lightweight cup, won that, the sold it. Then got the CTR for the FF challenge and Type R Meeting, which it got all golds in. Still on the stock tires ;)

Next I'll try to get a MR car. I have the beginner series of races about 70% done then I'll move on.

GT3 has been far more challenging that GT1 or GT2, and it makes it all that much better.

I've learned a lot from lurking around here on GTP, thanks for all the help you guys have been!

Hey, JT, let me be the first to welcome you to GTPlanet! Enjoy your stay here. Glad to see you're finding GT3 to be challenging.

If I may suggest, the next time you get 30,000 credits free, invest in a second-gen Miata and a set of T2 super slicks. Keep it stock and go run the Roadster Enduro, which is a lot of fun and can be won easily by pitting every 15-20 laps. That earns you 100,000 credits in about 75 minutes, and a chance at some good prize cars.

Good luck, man!

considering this: how the hel| did this post come back alive???

Well there are 16 months between Runninhorn's and F1MAD's posts.

So you can only assume that F1 Mad dug it up from the depths of GTPlanets history.
