How often do you play and whats your ranking?

I have averaged probably about 1 hour maybe less per day since the competition started. Yesterday i was 12 overall in the US by a hair, I imagine im down a few places by now. I have a felling that the guys that are ahead of me by like 2 seconds probably play a fair bit more than that?

An hour a day or less and your 12th? I'm barely top
50 in my region and I spend a good bit more time than that. I don't spend days on end, and haven't played in 3 days, but when I did this week it was definately more than an hour.

I try to grind out at least an hour or two a night, but I'm no where as gifted as some of you. Currently 190ish overall, but most of my focus has been on the first trial, I'm less than a second behind choate in midwest and sitting in the 80's.

Just starting my grind on rome got about 2 seconds to make up and probably half an hour @ the cape and an eternity to make up, I think I was something like 8 seconds off the pace.

I really hope I can drop some nice times on cape when I start grinding as my overall should skyrocket with a decent time there.

Now that I think about it, I should have probably done the grinding in reverse as there is more to gain at the cape.

Ranking is irrelevant in my opinion-I am in the top 128 in my region- but I spent about 1 1/2 hours doing the Formula GT Championship tonight. What a freaking blast!

I've dropped to 41st in the SE and ~140ish overall... hadn't been able to drive for these last 4 days due to the holidays, but hopefully I can at least find 2 more seconds in my overall time. That's my goal at least, but it's getting extremely tough.

All I know is that I am in the top 128 for my region and that's definitely something I didn't anticipate coming into this thing.

I've been playing about 3 hours a day, and I'm still far behind. 455th in the west the last time I checked, and somewhere between 1300 and 1400th in all the regions. I'm still getting used to the DFGT, so I'll be able to rank higher once I spend enough time with it (got it yesterday).

I read somewhere on these forums it's about 50 hours behind the wheel before you are fully acclimated. Although I felt pretty comfortable after a few days of 2+ hours a day.

Top 50 on Tsukuba after less than 45 minutes, did it all on the first day of the comp. Did almost 2 hours on Rome last night, first time I've even attempted that one and sit 34th.

I'll spend not much more than a few hours in one or two sittings on the last time trial sometime this week then just watch my ranking towards the end of the competition, if I start to slip out of 128 I'll put in a few hours in the last day. I just can't see myself playing hours on end just to barely stay in the top 128 this early in the competition. Those higher rankings (higher as in closer to 128) within the top 128 will probably get knocked out easily as the comp goes on. I definitely see where the wheel can be way faster than a controller, might need to invest in one.

I'm up and down. I didn't get to play a few days this week, but when I do play I can usually get 1-2 hours.

Saturday I obviously didn't get any time - I actually spent more time swapping out my "comfort softs" (Potenzas) for my "snow & ice" (Blizzaks) tires, and adjusting my dampers (Koni Yellows) from 9 to 3.

I got up to 8th last night in the Northeast, but now I'm 9th...24th overall I believe.

I usually set goals for each track based on what I think I SHOULD be able to take off. By the time I reach them everyone else has moved up just as much. For instance if I could hit my goals at each track right now I would move up to 4th in the Northeast at 9th in the US...but by the time I actually hit those marks I'll still be just inside the top 10 for the Northeast and right around the top 20 overall.
