How Should I Start

After having my game file corrupt i need to start all over again. And i remeber there was a trick on how to get a certain car to get the indy car. But i can not remeber what it was. Could someone point me in the right direction because at this point i wanna huck my ps2 at the wall.

What car should I buy first? than what race to get that I think the camero race car to eventually get the indy car.

If someone know;s that would be a great help in this time of need.

I would start by using search tool :-)

You could just do all licences and that will give you couple of good cars to start with without spending money (for example Nissan 270 R)

Win a car, or buy a car, and drive it. Win races, win more cars, win more races etc. Sorted.

And there is no "indy" car in GT4.

If so, then there is no "tricks" into getting it. You only get it by winning the Nurburgring 24 hour Endurance or by finishing the game 100% completely.

There's no indy car in GT4, and i won't have the OP insulting a Formula 1 car by calling it that!

And as G.T said, the F1 car can be won in the Nurburg Endurance 24h.

For the rest, you can either get the I-A car (a Skyline variant) and do some races in it, or get the Mitsubishi 3000GT, Toyota Supra or Mitsubishi FTO in the used cars lot and go from there (i'd say the 3000GT is the best bet if you can afford it), do the beginner races, tune it up a bit and then go for the second Special Condition race (Capri) to win the RSC, which can be sold for 265k. Get a Mercedes and tune it up a bit (sl55 amg or so), do the first Mercedes event, and use the prize car (a CLK Touring car) to win the DTM championship in Euro events on b-spec.

The Mercedes you win there can be tuned a bit to do the b-spec Nurburg 24h i think, i don't know for sure though. In any case, the DTM is worth doing a few times over for fast cash if that's your thing.

I think he;s wanting to do the path that takes you through the el capitan enduro , winning the minolta, and then the F-1.

sorry I was talking about the F-1 car and not the indy car. And i was all frustrated and fed up with the game because of my incident with GT4. But I was wondering if ne1 knew the way to skip around and what order of races to do so i could do the enduro race and get the F-1 car.

rite now i started again doing the licenses tests so thats where i stand

all i wanted to do was drift my skyline and m3 today but no im doin license exams.

well you need to complete 25% of game to do enduro races...So basically you can go any way you want inorder to acomplish 25%, there is no trick or faster way to acomplish that task...sowy!!!

its all good, I was jw what was out there, i dont mind doing th races anyways thats the whole reason for GT4
