How to attach a Buttkicker Advance to a seat?

I'm currently building a racing cockpit and ordered a Buttkicker BKA300 Wireless Kit for it. I was planning on mounting it to a box directly under the seat, and then using the rubber isolators to separate that from the rest of the cockpit.

Has anyone done this?

I wonder if maybe I should try to put it under the middle of the whole cockpit instead. Or does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks :)

Can't wait to try out my buttlicker, oops, buttkicker (sorry Skymeat, lol)

The best thing to do is test different positions.

BKA 300 comes with its own rubber platform but hard mounting will allow you to directly mount it to your seat or frame.

Welcome to the world of bringing your cockpit to life.

Thanks :) It should arrive any-day now.

By the way, I can't wait to see more shots of your cockpit. It's truly a work of beauty!

If you have a bucket seat, I'd be inclined to attach it directly to that. I tried attaching one to the wooden base of my pod and was underwhelmed by the performance. Attaching it directly (underneath the seat) proved to be far more effective. It requires drilling through the metal to use mounting bolts but it's definitely worth it.

Sadly though, the unit packed in and I haven't got around to replacing it. Definitely doesn't feel the same now :(

Edit: Scratch that. This one may be way more powerful than the one I had.

If you have a fiberglass racing seat or fiberglass seat in general I would bolt it to the back of the chair. I have done this and the results are excellent.

Yes this is the same one I have for me I mounted it under the seat. My rig is all metal so it shakes the hole rig I even feel it down on the CSP :dopey:

I see mine is out of customs now, hopefully I'll have it tomorrow :) I'll be sure to try it on the back of the chair too. Although I have more room under the chair, so I might try attaching it to that and see if it works just as well.

This buttkicker is big and heavy so on the back of a seat might not be a good idea it's not small and light like the gamer model I would stick it right under the seat and call it good.

Why is the back of the seat no good???
I have this exact BKA300 unit bolted to my seat back...

I said it might not be a good idea that's all read it! Do what ever gives the best result. For me shaking my bum was not enuph:nervous: The hole rig shaking win win:)
