How to do Auto Drive?

Watched some YouTube videos of doing Auto Drive, how does it work and can you do it in Arcade Mode?

I've tried it several times but my car does not move anywhere.

Open a lobby, go to the track and hit pause. I saw a few people doing it to get Milage points but I haven't tried it yet.

I saw people with the Mclaren VGT and the Tomahawk.

So by hitting the "Pause" button, the car will automatically drive by itself? Or after I hit the Pause button, I go into the menu setting and change to Auto Drive?

Online, when you hit pause, the car drives itself automatically. It's not a mode.
In past GT games the cars wouldn't pass 80km/h but apparently in GTS they're faster, at least from what we see in the video.

I am wondering if you can still earn credits doing this in the Arcade Mode?

This is kind of like the B-Spec mode in the previous GT games. Just sit back and watch your AI do the driving.

In Arcade mode if you hit pause the game will pause.
