Tried a search, but didn't find anything, so I ask here :). If the answer is here already, I apologize for lack for searching skills :).

Anyway, I just got the Anniversary edition, and it says on the box that is gives me 20 special cars, paint chips and such, all of which I got, but it also says I get 1.000.000 in-game credits, which I have yet to see. I've been going through the menu and I don´t see any option to redeem it or whatnot.

Anyone had the same problem?

you get a redeem voucher in the disc case.
Mine is stuck or something on the redeem loading screen for about 20 mins now. not sure if I should switch the ps3 off but looking like I have no choice.. What to do?...

I have used the redeem code on the PSN store, and got everything, except the startup cash.

Maybe this is an issue because I'm from Iceland, and my main PSN account is registered to Iceland? I have never had any problems with that before though.

Because Iceland doesn't have a PSN store yet, I have a seperate UK account, which I have used to download game DLC and such, and used vouchers without trouble. This worked now, I did get all the cars, chips etc., but just the cash is missing. If this was a problem with my account, I'm guessing I wouldn't have recieved all the other stuff?

Try redeeming the code within the game like in the link that I posted.

I can't, because on my Icelandic main account, there is no PSN store. That's why I used the UK PSN store to redeem the stuff. And it worked, except the credits. Been doing all redeeming stuff and DLC downloading etc.. like this since 2007 when I get my PS3, never run into any trouble.

But the FAQ says one can redeem this content either by using the in-game store, or through the PSN.

Looks like the credits cannot be shared on different accounts from the same system.
It's most likely locked to the account which you used to download.

I wouldn't have thought that would have stopped you, to be honest.

But if you haven't been able to get it from the main PSN store, then I suggest you wait until more people have used codes, or someone who can offer advice.

Hm, yeah well I guess that makes sense. Gonna try launching the game from my UK account, haven't tried it yet because I didn´t want to ruin the chances of getting the money on my main account.

So does that mean that the anniversary cars can be downloaded on another account on my PS3?

Yeah, I'll keep my eyes open for this subject :)

If it would work on every account, it wouldn't matter if you also launch the game on your UK one.
The savegames are seperated, so it either works on both, or only on the one you used for downloading it.

EDIT:

Like most DLC on the PS3, it seems to be the case yes.
It makes sense for exactly what the OP is experiencing and other imported games.
GT5 locked it at first and they patched that and gave everyone who bought the DLC twice the Toyota FT-86 II Concept for free.

Well, just launched the UK account, and I get the credits when I start up the game, at the same time as the cars and everything else. So I guess the credits can only be aquired on the account where the code was redeemed.

No biggie, I'll just play GT6 on the UK Account.

You can get the cars and the other stuff on multiple accounts, like other game downloads, but apparently the credits are only available for the account where you redeemed the codes.

The reason I ask is because I have my main account and my WRS account - the GTP_iainoflo under my name. I don't want to be restricted to using them on one account, the credits don't matter so much, but I want to use the AE cars on both accounts to help with progression.

This is really good news, because I heard it wasn't the case for the GT5 Collectors Editions with the Stealth/Chromeline cars, but later when I bought DLC I was able to use it on all my accounts.

Thanks for answering my question, it saved my creating a new thread.

Yeah, not too bothered about the credits not being on both accounts, because the cars themselves can help with that. I'll just need to decide which account to use the codes on, then.

True :). I'm actually thinking of just skipping the million credits and keep using my Icelandic account. I can be pretty specific about that kind of stuff, plus earning race credits to save up for new cars is a big part of the game .. so starting off with one million would ruin that in a way. Plus, like you said, the gift cars are a pretty generous head start anyway ;).

Yep, that seems like a good idea. I might hold onto the 1million then and just save it for later. Nice starter fund for an LMP/GT3 car.

True, true. Well if I get tempted and greedy, I do have the one mill on the UK account, so I guess I could buy a car there and gift it to my other account if that's possible, if there are no restrictions on gifting, haven't really checked that out.
