How to get your favourite factory spec colour on gift and used cars?

You get gift and used cars mostly in colours you don't like. Most of my gift cars are some sort of grey, which I hate.
How can you get one of the original factory paints on your car? I have tried to look in GT Auto, but haven't been able to figure it out.

Go to GT Auto and in the paint section, use the filters to help you find the manufacturer paint chip that you want. Now that you own it, go to the livery editor to apply said paint chip ("special colour") to the car body. I just applied Championship White to my Fit
