Hi guys

I was wondering about how you make a video of your gameplay?

Well stupid question? "I used a camera" xD
But I mean how do you record your lap on the ps3?
Can I transfer the replay to my pc somehow and edit it?
On some videoes you can see that the man have used a camera and it is lower quality, but other videoes it is just the gameplay directly on the screen.

Just sometimes when you are searshing for help it is easier to show a video, and I have some drifting trouble, so I thought I would make a video of it... But how is it best to record one?
Like one in 2 lays, where 1 first lay shows the car in 3rd person and the second lay, where you are sitting behind the wheel in real?

or how would you do it?

thanks in advance...

You will need some sort of video capturing device ("capture card") installed on your PC, or an external video capturing device (USB, Firewire, etc...)

A Google search for "video capture card", or "video capture device" should start you in the right direction.

You can see what is needed in this thread: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=125393. I outlined what items are needed and cost to have it record as good as it can be :) You can also use a USB recording device to record the replays in SD to your computer and edit them later, here's a link to my old Dazzle device I used to use: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Pinnacl...66&skuId=8853822&st=dazzle&contract_desc=null Just keep in mind with this cheaper USB option, you need to switch the output on the PS3 from SD to HD every time you make a replay :/

Well thx... I think I will try my av recorder (usually used for VHS recordings) device some time. It is just hard to go from 1080p to some crappy av quality :S But also stupid to invest 200$ for some device just for a video :D

To each his own I guess. I spent more mostly because I plan on recording and posting TONS of replays (licenses, races, etc) to my website and I don't feel it should be such a pain to unplug, move and reset the video settings each time I want to make some replays. So considering I spent a solid 4 years playing GT4 that time and hassle savings is worth it for me :) GL!
