How to make DFP steering smooth again?

Its so noisy when you turn nowadays, i think it needs lube. What should i use and where should i get it? I opened it last night and there wasnt much on it.


Also do u guys know how to make force feedback stronger? Its not as strong as when i bought it.

I need help with this too.
If i turn hard enough, it doesnt even center in the same place

Yip, I've got exactly the same problems but an added bonus is that it makes a cracking sound ever to often! That said, I've put in a couple of thousand hours on it!

I use white lithium grease in mine.
Works pretty good too, a bit quieter and much smoother.
I'd recommend the spray can stuff instead of the squeeze tubes, it just makes it easier to get the grease where you want it.
You should be able to pick some up at any automotive parts store.

Make sure it's lithium grease though, regular petroleum based grease will eat away at the plastic gears.
