Hey, everyone. I have one Aura Bass Shaker that I just recently bought. What do I need to power only one? I see all these threads and they're all looking for an amp to power two - six of them. I'm looking for the cheapest amp possible to get the job done, but I dont know much about setting stuff like this up. Gonna give it a shot. Will this amp work?

Or this one?:

I'm really trying to go as cheap as possible since this whole
cockpit has been a budget build after buying the G27. (Scrap
lumber and stuff)

Hopefully someone in the Assetto Corsa, GT5 or GT6 forums can help
me out. Thanks in advance, guys :D

This should go in the sim racing hardware subforum.

That's the proven, generally recommended single-channel amp to run aura bass shakers. I have 5 shakers on my cockpit, 4 run out of a single amp. I run the orphan shaker out of this same amp, except mine is the 70W version and I regret not getting the 100W like people recommended. Your speakers (in this case shakers) are only as good as the amplifier driving them. I wouldn't recommend you to cheap out on something as "critical" as your bass shaker, you need to buy the best amp possible otherwise the vibrations you'll feel won't be as immersing / good / perceivable.

Well, I'm ok with it not feeling like I'm off-road. I have a real
car for that. It's more for just a little vibration to replicate going
over the less smooth parts of the road. I dont plan on adding
more than one bass shaker. I was just hoping the amp would
cost less than the bass shaker :/

The problem is with the amps you linked to. They will not perform well with a shaker. The ratings on those amps are optimistic at best. The amp I linked to isn't ideal for a bass shaker either, but it will be leaps and bounds better than one of those other amps you linked to.

Agreed. Getting a good shaker and a cheap amp is like getting a fast car and cheap tires, you really shouldn't cheap out on the amp. If you really can't go any higher then go with the amp farkrakr linked, but not with the ones you were considering. You'll regret it if you do.
