Hi:

I performed the search; I'm looking how to change back to the original set of wheels. In Gt3 it was posible but in GT4 I don't know how.

I have and rx-7 in my garage with aftermarket wheels; But I want to change for the original set; If this posible? How can I do it? where to go and do it?

thanks! regards!

There is no option to reset the wheels or re-install the original wheels on your cars, as sad as it can be...

When you buy new wheels, your old are "traded" with the money to buy those. The only way to get the original ones is to keep looking in the Daily Specials (Is it the right name ???) until the stock one appears for sale and buy them.

Faster way, save your settings, sell the car, and buy another one. :)

In the case of the Mazda RX-7, your problem is pretty small, and can be cured if you'll be patient. RX-7 wheels are very common in the used wheel lot, and chances are that you'll find them, or very similar ones.

You'll find the wheel-list Here. Just take a good look at the wheels of a regular RX-7, and then look for them in the list. Buy used wheels until you reach the day where the wheels you want are.

Ohhh! Ok!

Thanks for the info.

But if I found the originals and I buy them, do I lost The aftermarket ones again?

Or I keept the 2 sets?

you lose the aftermarkets if you change them, you can only have ONE set for each car.

Not quite, you get one set of wheels for each tyre type that you have.

That way you could keep the original rims for 'standard' tyres, and have custom rims for 'sports', 'race' and 'snow/dirt' tyres (or any other combo).

No, the rims your car will equipped with on standard and sports tyres are the same 👍

That is for N1,N2,N3,S1,S2 and S3 tyres.

👍

Cool thanks for the correction.

That's what happens when you post from memory at work.

Still does allow you to have at least two or three sets of rims per car (depending if you can fit dirt/snow tyres to the car).

Somehow I remember in GT3 that you could go to your car in the garage and pick which wheels you wanted, As far as I know you could keep as many sets as you wanted, and I even think you could put them on different cars that you bought them for.
Could someone confirm if this was true?

Yepp 👍

Looks weird though, a Viper on dirt tires

Yes it was true, but only in GT3 apparently.

I prefered the GT3 method insted of the GT4, it's just my preferense.

Agreed 👍

The same method in GT4 would be really sweet, you don't have a clue how much days are past in my game looking for the PD bling bling wheels just to get them on my car to post it into my gallery

Hi Guys, yes i would like to see a more updated user friendly wheel setup but at the same time i don't want it to look like the NFS series and if they could bring the GT3 wheel setup back it would be very nice.

You can always just re-buy the car from your own memory card through the trade function and everything is reset to stock including the wheels. It's expensive but it saves time hunting for wheels and it's good for times when you can't exactly remember which wheels were the originals.

Of course you have to re-modify and tune your car all over again - but you also get the odometer reset to what it was when you got the car.

:-)
