How to Remove the GT4 New Demo's Time Limit?

Damn, for a second I thought that this thread had the answers untill I noticed the question mark.

The answer to this is patience, like any GT fan should have developed in the last year.

The time limit will probably never be removed, because there are some problems:

- the "extract.exe" which was used to extract the previous "GTx.VOL"-files doesn't work on this version. It seems they have changed the file format. Unfortunately extracting the "GT4.VOL" is vital for making changes to the demo.

- there were two BMW demos, one with and one without a time limit. Only this made comparison of the two versions to find the differences concerning the time limit possible, which allowed the clever guys to remove it. There is no unlimited version of this demo though, which might make a removal impossible.

Now I'm not saying the limit really will never be removed, maybe there are other ways than the one used before. But it may well be that it really is impossible.

Maybe we can get an action replay code that just stops the time limit, or changes it to a huge value. Somebody managed to extract the GT4.vol though, i've seen a cars folder for the demo but I couldn't get it to work either.

Yeah, that came to my mind, too. Unfortunately I have no clue about the action replay, but I think this might be the best chance we have.

The car list came from the GT4.VOL, but the information was found with a hex editor which happens to read files of this kind without them being extracted. As far as I know GT4.VOL was not extracted yet.

I know this demo is great
specially Falken + Nurburgring simply awesome
but we gotta be patient ...

if you hate time limit, go play bmw demo
if you want paris, make your own prologue disk with paris
that's how I relief my pain :ouch:

We are patient, at least I am. I really like this demo, and I rather have this demo with the time limit than no demo at all. I enjoy to play it, and I'd like to see the time limit fall, but I'm not gonna cry if it won't. :)
