"YOU'RE SO FREAKING STUPID!!!!! I AHTE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SHUT THE HELL UP!!!!!!!"

:P I think I'm the classic troll.
It does sum it up, doesn't it.

I don't think they know what they are talking about. Trolls for the most part post things to piss people off in hopes of getting a lot of people to respond.

Speaking of trolls, I haven't been on FunnyJunk is a few weeks now. Maybe things have gotten better and things are funny now :)

*goes to check*

EDIT: Nevermind...

Yeah, I thought a troll was someone who deliberately posts inflammatory statements. Like some Forza fan coming in to rag on GT, just trying to stir things up. In fact, lemme wikipedia that...

Both trolled by the article itself.

Someone who fishes by throwing easy bait out there and dragging it slowly through the muck.

And you guys thought it was some weird dude living under a bridge.

Not even a language warning? Please add one in there, although I would suggest removing it as it does not particularly pertain to the subject.

Exactly...
I'm anticipating a Mod clicking the link, and the subsequent smack to be issued...

I'm always told by friends that I'm a troll in class, when I ask silly questions...

"So, the MLA format has now changed. Titles of publications are now italicized, not underlined. Yes, Mr. West, you have a question?"

"Yeah. Why? Why did it need changing? All they've accomplished by doing that is making us more likely to lose points on formatting. And furthermore, how does one become a part of the MLA? What gives them the authority to change how I write my paper?"

Not sure if thats trolling, or just being curious/annoyed.

You're probably asking legitimate questions. Or playing the Devil's advocate.

Trolling can be as simple as posting a flame-bait thread. And then disappearing to partake vicariously through a second account.

Trolling is best ignored - or if you feel compelled to respond, just reported.

Not the best troll test I have seen in the Internet...

Technically it is the best, because it is the only one I have seen so far.
