Working on the "Like The Wind" series, got the first and third race done with Audi R18 TDI. For the second race I guess I need a car that can go beyond 300 MPH as the car seems can't catch up the leader =.= (current tune only takes me up to around 250 ...)

Have seen cars go beyond 300mph on YouTube. How do people get the car go that fast?

I did that race with a fully tuned Minolta Toyota, and won it by a huge margin. the car doesnt need to do 300 mph, because all the race cars do about 240 mph, then the supercars at 250 mph, the if you set the transmission to its highest it will win the race cause its doing 270-280 mph.

The R18 TDI won't go beyond 300mph. You'll need a street car or a much higher powered le Mans car like the Minolta.

The Mercedes Benz Vision GT with all parts is the cheapest option, but people have been using the GT-R Black Edition and I like to use the Tommykaira ZZII. As HTR said though, once you've added all power parts make the transmission quite long and you'll get up to 280 at least. Thought Nitrous can get you beyond 300 if you can afford to use it.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.

update: beat race #2 with the Corvette ZR1 (C6) '09 ^^
