How to use a Wheel and a DS3

Hi all,
Can anybody tell me how can I set up GT5 to use my G25 (Which wheel should I use to set it up as) and also make the DS3 controller work at the same time.

The reason why I want the DS3 to work at the same time is that I can sit on the sofa and control my B Spec driver without having to get up and tell him to Haul ass etc.. Also it to navigate the menu system between his races.

I know it sounds lazy, but I Play GT5 on a secondary TV with the wheel all set up nice, and it annoys my wife whilst we are sat there watching TV and I keep getting up etc to go tell bob to get a move on, or to switch races. She wont mind if I can control it from the sofa, and rub her feet at the same time LOL. Im already lucky Im allowed to keep the wheel in place and the second HD TV, which is also our PC monitor.

Oh the things us men have to do to get some GT time in LOL

In XMB.
Set your DS3 to controller 1.
Set your G25 to controller 2.

In GT 5 options under driving force pro you can assign the buttons on G25.

I just leave the G25 plugged in then switched the controller over to 1 when the game has started.

When going back to the wheel from B-spec I have noticed that the transmission will have changed to Automatic which causes minor annoyance when I start a race!

Out of interest, is there a way to set the regular controller to always be ID 1? (Or the wheel to always be controller 2/whatever? In the same way that my remote is always ID 7?)

Well, once you switch it on it stays on for the rest of the period the ps3 is running.

Yeah I just have my G25 plugged in when I'm playing and just switch on my controller and assign it to 1. If I turn it off the wheel goes back to 1.
I use it alot if I'm trying to use Photo Mode and what not as you pretty much can't use Photo Mode with the wheel.
