How to win GTW

Now, to end all of those threads saying "How do I win the world championship?" well, here is the answer to win it.

First, I have tried this with many cars, only two have cut the cheese (to say)

Mazda 787B (Can be bought for 4.5 million, or you cna do teh "Black car" thing)
Minolta Toyota

Now, I recommend the Minolta Toyota over the Mozda, because it is arguably the best racing car you can get.

First, here is the steps to get the Minolta Toyota, since it has to be won:

Save up 150,000 credits and go to the German showroom and buy a Mercedes Benz Slk 55 AMG

Give it stage two NA tuning (to boost it to over 700 horses) and buy a racing chip to remove the rev limiter

Enter it in the "Legends of teh sliver arrow" series. Beat that, and you will win the Mercedes CLK Touring car.

Get in the CLK touring car, and put a stage four turbo on it

Enter it in the touring car championship in the European hall, and beat that. YOu will win the CLK GTR race car. (You can do this multiple times and sell the CLK GTRS to get a large sum of money, and use this to buy the Mazda)

Get in the CLK GTR and put a stage four turbo on it and give it hard and superhard racing tires, enter it in the el captain endurance race.

You will win that, and you will have the Minolta Toyota.

Now, you have teh Minolta Toyota, so this is what you do:

Go to the Toyota dealer, and buy a stage four turbo (To give it over 1,100 HP) and every type of racing tire. I suggest equipping the hard or super hard racing tires.

Then, enter teh GT world championship. (If you haven't won the rest of the professional events, do this first, or else you won't be elgiable to enter)

Now, you are entered. First of all, check the starting line up. If there is another MINOLTA Toyota entered, exit and enter again. Do this until you are the only Minolta Toyota. If there is another Minolta Toyota racing, it will just make it that much harder to beat this once and for all.

Now, I b-specced most of the races, because I don't have the patience, and I am afraid that my hardnosed driving style may bite me in the butt. You cna B-spec most of it, and what you do is that you set it to push and overtake, until your driver passes all of teh other cars (Which it shouldn't take long, asa you have a 300 to 400 HP advantage), and when he is in first, bump him down to steady, but leave overtake on. While he may not win every race, this will win enough races.

Hopefully this will help. If not, just post any more questions needed to be answered:tup:

I used the Formula GT, alls i changed was the LSD settings, and took off all the driving aids. Finished it with 80 pts (The sauber had me on the tighter tracks), and won.

If your driving it on your own, your best bet (besides driving good) is pit stratagy. The Sauber and the Nissan that follows him like to pit late in the race. I would race until i had a comfy lead, pit in about mid-race. The sauber/nissan pair would pass me, but eventualy fall to sliding of the tracks themselves with bad tires, while I pass with nice, warm rubber.

Well, I use a different strategy. I simply use super hard tires and I don't pit. Usually when you need to pit, it is on the last lap anyways, so I never saw teh point.

Can anyone say OVERKILL! ?

Please read this:- 200 A-spec points at Nurburgring 4hr Enduro.

This is a prime example of a race report. Which is why it's in the Race Report forum.

Your advice, while correct, if you wish to annhiliate the game without actually racing any of it, or experiencing any of the enjoyment that GT4 permits, doesn't belong here in the race reports forum. It should probably go in the General discussion thread, along with all the other folks that have posted similar way-overboard strategies, or in one of the many many many "How do I beat GTWC?" threads on the main GT4 boards, all of which contain similar advice to this.

To win the Minolta for way less cash, buy a used Toyota Supra RZ '97. Spend 50Cr changing the oil, save the game. Reset console, enter/exit El Capitan Enduro about 7 times. Around the 8th lineup is beatable in the Supra, with no additional modifications, for 200 A-spec points to boot! :D

Personally, 1100HP Minolta to me is just :yuck:
GTWC was easily won against the hardest lineup I could find, in an unmodified Bentley Speed 8 Race Car. Here's how, blow by blow.

Guess this thread can be locked now......;)

what  ...... where ..... you mean GTP has a search function... Wow.

;)

AMG.
LOL, you have to agree with me. How many threads were made besides the original and the original has the answers.

Where are the "TEH" police when you need them? :dunce: Please read THIS.

Especially this part:
No slang words that promote laziness, ie; "r", "u", "plz", etc. will be tolerated. Decent grammar is expected, including proper usage of capital letters. Repeated violations will be grounds for suspension and/or permanent removal from the forums.

I don't mind people trying to post advice or reports on how they beat certain races, but at least make it readable...

But there are plenty of ways to beat this series without resorting to overkill. Smallhorses has a good example with the Bentley. It can also be done with a CLK-GTR, a Chapparal 2J, oh, and even by a Nissan Motul Pitwork Z. Now THAT is THE way to do it!
