How Would You Like To Be Awarded Cars?

Hey there, this is my 1st post (I think 1st post shouldn't be a new thread but I didnt see this anywhere) Been a long time lurker, decided to join the community.

How would you guys like to be awarded a new car? Like in GT4 after you win certain race/tournament you receive a car or when you finish the license tests.

I think GT5 should introduce the car you win by doing what they did in GT 5: Prologue. And thats to have a veil covering the car and then showing you the car you just won.



Just like that, thoughts?
 
That would be very interesting, but might be unnecessary.
 
That is neat and all, but there better be a "skip" option. I don't want to sit through that for every car I win. :sick:
 
I'd like to see the "spinning wheel of disappointment" return from GT3. Perhaps, rather than having the cars blacked out, they could be covered like in the video and the one which you win will be unveiled to you.

on a podium spraying champagne everywhere and my new car below.
 
I would like a hot virtual woman in skimpy clothes pulling the cover off of the prize car I just won then do those stupid hand signals that those Japanese car show models always do at the Tokyo Auto Salon. It would please me!
 
Pick a box style, with a veil over three cars, you get to choose one.
Possibly a little similar in shape so trying to trick.

A good idea also, either this or allow the player to chose which car they want, maybe the car you have already got should stay unveiled the next time you win the race. That would allow people to still pick the car they already have, or select one they don't, people shouldn't have a problem with the system then.
 
Hi Viperman, welcome to the planet of Gran Turismo.If this is what people are meaning, would be good to pick a prize car from the finished race (whether there is 1 car to choose or 20 ).

That would be a nice feature Ravellron.That would a reason to focus in, on the whole car instead of different areas combined with a short time of the entire vehicle.

i remember that Mr Yama told about this feature 9/8 years ago..
but with the missing grafic interiors of the car wouldn't be possible..
now he can reach and handle this idea...
 
I'd like to see the method from GT4 in GT5, where the name would appear first and then the car underneath. :)

Yea thats what I forgot to mention.

Also you guys have some nice ideas as well.

And the GT 3 way I dont think it will fit the style of GT 5.

Anyways, GT4's way was perfect, only that I would want to choose the color once I win the car. Otherwise, I would go nuts trying to win a red Dodge Charger like in GT4. :banghead:

This is one of the things I want to be changed in GT5 from the other GT games. I do not want to be awarded cars, I want to be awarded money and buy the car I want.

Oh, and cars you can't buy but have to win is silly. Everything should be for sale, unless PD decides to inlclude Mona Lisa in the god damn game.

I think that would just make obtaining every car in the game waaay to easy, don't you think?

How do you know PD haven't already implemented it into GT5? ;)
 
I would like the cover to pulled off as shown in the video... As long as it was faster, I also would like to be able to select a COLOR!
 
What pissed me off in GT4 was how useless some of the cars were.
Sometimes you would win the same car you just bought to win the race in the first place

Take completely takes away from the hunting and collecting aspect of the game. If you can just out right buy everything, it would make some races pointless. If you dont need or like the car they give, you can always sell it for some big money.

I fully agree with you there. I love finishing a race/series with the anticipation of what car I'm about to receive.
