Welcome to the Hybrid Touring Car Championship. With the rise of hybrid hypercars (P1, LaFerrari, 918, etc.), hybrid race cars (R18, TS040, 919, etc.) full electric open wheeled racing series (Formula E), and full on electric production cars (Model S, etc.), and yet, there's no racing series for hybrids on GT6!

Touring Car racing is one of the most popular racing styles there is, a perfect location for hybrid racing to thrive. Luckily for us, there are two hybrid touring cars: CR-Z Touring Car and the Prius Touring Car.

Cars

Performance figures for these cars will be edited on soon.

Tracks
To show everyone all over the world that hybrids are the next step forward, we'll race on all the real life tracks. A full schedule will be edited here soon.

Time
A proposed time for the HTCC will be at 1:00 PM EST on Saturdays (8:00 PM GMT on Saturdays). If you would like to join but have problems with this time proposal, please leave a reply about when you'll be able to.

They're supposed to be the CR-Z and Prius touring car pictures from GT5. I'm not sure why they're broken. It worked earlier.

Too bad the CR-Z TC doesnt actually have a hybrid motor. The Prius will also get annihilated by the CR-Z, I would presume.

I'll have time to do it tomorrow. But don't expect it to be a quick process.

If you can't manage to bring the cars to good specs maybe do a one make instead. But anyway if anybody can come up with good specs it's @Mini Stiggy. 👍

Well said, Stiggy did a great job speccing for Laguna 1.5. I've been on this thread on and off for a while, but now that it's apparently getting more attention, I got more interested. Also, the images on OP still don't show up.

This caught my attention, problem is I have two leagues on the same time slot as yours (Saturday's afternoons, which are GTP GRC where I race part-time and ToCA), so this become instantly a no-go for me.. Can't it be Sunday on the same time?
