human comedy race 8 - tuning/car help

Having a rough time with this race - all the threads I've read all say it's very difficult. Can anyone help with a car/tune combo that I can maybe get some success with? I was hoping today's post might have eased up the difficulty on this race- but I haven't seen anything about that. I have got gold in every other mission except this one. I play with a controller - no wheel set up. any tips would be greatly appreciated, tia

You can't change the car setup so you're stuck with trying to find whatever car is quick enough that suits your driving style. Have a look through this thread as it contains a lot of different strategies and cars that work.

tl;dr Genesis on RM using a two stop strategy. Ideally you need to be under 1:00:30 and run quick laps around 1:56-1:57.
