Nope, I've never hunted anything, but I know a lot of people who do. :)

Well, I use to hunt deer way back in the day(few years ago), but kinda didn't hunt at all last year...:nervous:

Hopefully I'll get to go this year...:D

Yes, I do, both muledeer and whitetails. Also, duck geese, phesant and grouse. Everywhere to hunt is within a couple hour's drive and is easy to access.

We got 2 deer this year, both 4pnts, and they are great eating. I hunt for meat, not for trophy.

I ran over a deer once, does that count? My Best Friend always seems to be looking for Wild Turkey, but I don't think he's talking about the bird. ;)

Ok, I have to ask a question.... anyone else here think deer look like big overgrown mice??? Is this just me???

:reallyodd

Time for new glasses, mate.

Then again, we have a blue oriental cat that looks like a overgrown rat.

I'm not particularly big on hunting, but I do see the need for it. (Luckily people enjoy it) Last year we had an incredible population explosion for deer, so much so that they had to extend the hunting season considerably. Every day I would see at least one new carcass on the roadside, and several blood stains on the pavement as I would travel to and from work. Every one of those represents an animal dying in a terrible fashion, and a wrecked car. All because the deer needed to encroach closer than they normally would to people in order to find food. I'd rather see someone shoot it, killing it quickly and then using it for food.
This year the population seems to be back to normal and I've only seen one dead animal on the roadside in several weeks.

Well the snow geese are destroying the artic.... Right now the bag limit is 7 birds a day, but no one really hunts them heavily around here....
