hybriding using a Ps3 instead of a Ps2 and Device

I was a big fan of hybriding with my PS2 till my Sharkport disk cracked. Now you can pull gamesaves off the Ps3.

I gave this a shot using my memory card adapter and it puts it as a PSV file. Then i open it up in MKs GT Garage Editor change some things and then overwrite the current file using the same name and extension. Then i try to copy it onto the Ps3 and it says Save file currupt.

Anyone have any advice or luck with doing it this way?

You're trying to do GT3 hybrids, right? I've never even heard about a psv format save.. the first explanation that comes to my mind is the garage editor can't save psv files in correct format, though I don't know why it's able to read them

No. PSV files have a digital signature, until the method and key used to generate this is discovered no software can create or edit PSV files.

aww, strange how they made psv files unhexable yet actual ps3 game saves are hexable without corruption.
