Hey, I was in a SS7 lobbie yesterday and I saw a audi R8 going around 300-500mph with a Evo on spectate Im just wondering have people went totally around the 2.10
update and manage to still hack? are they slowly coming back again? I talked to the one of the users with one and he offered to make me one if I desire, so Im guessing theres a new program in software to bring hybrids back? is anyone aware of this also or its just me who saw this discovery?

- And, I think it will be again, if the hybrids are back.

Why would they if GT6 is right around the corner? Unless the code is just as easy to modify, I don't see a reason why for them to focus on ban hammering modders/hybriders.

There is a reason it was banned in the 1st place...

To make the game boring again, yeah, we get it.

Hopefully. The game without modded cars is really, really boring nowadays.

This. Totally agree. Not all hybrids were bad.

Last night I was in a Nurburgring free run (pretty much the only thing I enjoy online), and saw a C7 Corvette reaching upwards of 600mph on the final straight. He hit my stock Eunos Roadster so hard the sound disappeared, as I was launched forward and slightly upwards at speeds of over 450mph, which is around the speed required to break the speed of sound in GT5. My car ended up smashed up against the wall at the final corner. I left the lobby, speechless and trying to comprehend what the heck just happened.

BASICALLY all the update did was kill the realistic Hybrids, and still lets the BS Hyper cars through.....

Well done PD....

This. The patch was set to restore cars to all original parts, so hybrids with multipliers were restored, as were normal hybrids. The straight hacks, however, are not subject to this, because the patch recognizes no foreign parts. In other words, multipliers-whether for hp, downforce, grip, etc.-are still in effect.

The More You Know...

I've only had the privilege of driving a 100K Red Bull. But 400K?! How is that even drivable with every possible assist on???

But add this to that list: 7K Civic EK. Found it at SSR7.

I'm pretty sure you can find ANYTHING at SSR7!:scared::sly:

Yup! ;)
I was in this really fun (and somewhat wacky) lobby with a bunch of engine/chassis swapped cars. An M3 CSL with another M3 V8 (not sure if E46 GTR or E92), a pretty quick Mercedes Benz 190E (obviously modded, but not ridiculous), a hoodless and slammed Impreza wagon, and a several thousand horsepower AWD Integra spinning out of control and doing huge burnouts.

That's SSR7 for ya! Stupid Integra!:grumpy:👎

Rolflmao, dude relax, chill with the acting like you need to school me "The More you know" I hope YOU know the new hack is not messing with the HP, DF, or grip multipliers ;).

The Patch was put in place IMO to restore the online portion of the game to a PD GT system and get rid of the BS Hyper cars & swapped cars slammed cars. Notice the initial reset ;) & Multipliers Don't actually work anymore as far as I know. Hidden parts, paint, & this New Super HP hack work in 2.12

I don't really care about what exactly was done, but the end outcome. Some cars are still are able to be hacked into Hyper cars in a new way (kinda), SO All that has been done is realistic hacks got the ax while Hyper cars are still messing up online content, so the patch didn't really didn't do much to online except kill the Realistic hybrids having good fun.

"The more you know" lol Seriously :nervous: Never asked you a question buddy ;) I know how to hack cars before and after 2.12 ;) The "New" hack is not really HP grip or DF multipliers, I dont know if they work, I dont think they do lmfao, BUT the "New" hack does work & its a lil different ;) but has pretty much the same outcome, a Hypercar doing stupid speeds with retarded HP "The more you know" lol

I, for one, am glad that most of the hybrids are still around. Most of the cars I made are plain HP multipliers, so they should be perfectly fine =)

The only thing the updates did was return the hybriding movement back to where it started, back in February, with the "F" turbo ;)
There's nothing new about the current method of getting silly powered cars, I seem to remember the Civic that started the scene (for most people, at least) was created using this method. Also rather strange that you can still manually add or remove aero beyond the values the cars can have. Surely this is giving a much greater advantage to the "cheaters", as it's completely invisible and can be explained away as "good tuning". (I've got a GTOne with zeroed aero and on officially available tuned parts that runs well over 400mph, and a Cusco Impreza running LMP level aero values of 50/85, for example)

That's why I said "Kinda" :)

Its lame only the cool good stuff got cut and the cheeeeeeeeeese is still around. Well done PD lol

Anybody else smell a new patch coming?

If it adds the 2013 Nissan GTR N24 GT Academy race car, I'll forgive them for deleting hybrids.
Doesn't sound very possible does it? Shows how much I appreciate hybrids. It'll take THAT to allow me to forgive them for removing hybrids. :indiff:

I still have a RUF RGT with 20/30 downforce.

I HATE THEM!

They are here for a reason. I would recommend you take your bias and leave.

As I've stated all the way through the hybrid times, if you don't like the hybrids set your regulations correctly in your rooms. Anything over 2000bhp will empty it's tanks in about a lap (full throttle lap of Route X) and will likely be out of tyres by then too. Bitching about it here won't affect your abilities as a host to control your lobbies.

I wonder how quickly the tires run out on the 100K (or supposed 400K) Red Bull.

Faster than your gas can run out. You use around all your fuel at 4 laps and your tires are blown at around 3. And this is on Indy Super speedway.

The 50,000HP-and-onwards cars empty their fuel completely in less than 20 seconds when you rev them with disengaged clutch.

Said it countless times before, all the patch did was remove all positive sides of hybriding while leaving all negative/cheating aspects in the game. It's a real shame that the most awesome hybrid possibilities (swaps) are gone. :( At the same time I'm glad the unrealistic kid toys are still around a lot, that's what PD get for their half assed untested patches filled with ret:censored:d decisions.
