Awesome, this is the first time a car I actually own has appeared in the game. Got my I5N on Tuesday and it's an absolute beast, so much fun! My dad had a Sierra Cosworth when they first came out which I drove a few times but other than that nothing else I've owned has been in the game. I wonder if you'll be able to turn the 'engine' noises off and choose between the 3 different sounds like you can in the real car?

I think in GT7 cars which have multiple modes available for various things are usually locked into a specific mode.

Sounds fun! Though no idea what tie-in it would get. It's way too fast for the regular Sunday Cup the HiAce got, and it's not Japanese so it can't go in Japanese 4WD.

This was actually still in the 2022 datamine, if I remember right.

Though I'd say it's one of the least likely of the remaining cars from that to show up.

As for the ioniq 5 N, I'm worried it'll be less useful than a VGT would for a variety of reasons and the only way I feel it works in context of the upcoming 30th anniversary is that it's a road car, but one that another game series has already had some time ago, and it'll probably be able to be used in less events than a downtuned VGT (there are no 'asia events, just Japan for starters when it comes to region specific ones)

I'm certainly not against the addition though, far from it, I just don't get the timing or reasoning aside from advertisement

I have the non-N version of this car. It's about to have it's 6th set of parts replaced since new. It's been a rollercoaster for sure.

Happy to see this coming though.

They’ve got a strong line up of performance cars.


With the AFEELA joining the car list, it’s probably time for the Ioniq 5 N to chime in.
It would be pretty cool to have those “engine” sounds replicated to add some spice to the EV experience.
