I think F1 2010 was done very well. I still play F1 and gt5 alot. The best thing about F1 is on the hardest ai setting it is probably one of the best racing out there. AI will block, pass, and even get really aggresive if necessary. As far as the physics I think they are better than the gt5 F1 cars. Maybe I don't have them tuned right, but F1 2010 nailed it. By far Codemasters best game. Anyways I'm having fun with it still so thats all that really matters.

Well yes after about a month of playing F1 it quickly got boring for me, The game is 100% arcade in my opinion.
the F1 game has rubbish wheel support.

So I'm quite happy to play GT4 its still the best racing game out there, the sense of realism and attention to detail plus the range of driving skills needed will keep me going till GT5 comes out .

Yeah this is an older post but spot on....not overthought or altered from reality. I like F1 2010, its good fun.

1.) It has NO progressive grip loss, the feel of the car on the road is non-existent. This too me is the most important aspect of a game and this is why Gran Turismo is so immersive even with no career mode and the sterile lifeless feel.

Driving sims are not rocket science. I used to do the old Silicon Motor Speedway at the Mall of America. They could do driving physics way back when. These poop em out in 9 months games are like fast food. Players need to demand more in the physics department.

The "rubber band" AI in this game PROVES that the arent operating under any physics laws or rules set for the game.

I'm not talking about AI's cars varying from race to race, but within a race, within certain sectors. Like sector 2 at Catalunya for example. They take off like their being tractor beamed by a UFO.
