I bet nobody has heard of a car made by Yamaha!

Well, I think Yamaha tried to step into the car buisness with the 0X99-11, and I don't think they were to successful. This car is one of the ugliest I've seen.

and a top speed of 217mph (347kph)

Maybe so, but would you rather pay $807,000 for the Yamaha, or about $120,000 for a Hennessey Venom 800TT (kick-arse Viper)with a Twin Turbocharged V10 that is faster, and look better?

I remember this thing from the early '90s, when everyone was doing a supercar.

If memory serves the car was basically designed to show off the F1 engine that was running around in the back of the Brabham at the time- note the F1 style monocoque construction.

the yamaha might be able to kill the 800TT. it has a very short stroke and could run at high speeds for ages...unlike the 800TT. it would eventually take it over in an infinite straight line.

the TT would detonate lol.

for me I'd have a Hennessey Venom 800TT, Aston Martin V12 Vanquish, Porsche 959 and a BMW Z3. You would get all those for under $807,000, and still have change.

From the number of posts of yours I've read, I gather you don't like Vipers much.

eh...i just think they are overrated a fair bit. if someone gave me one id have it but id never buy one if thats what you mean.

anything over 8 cyls is pointless for me. thats just my stance.
