Looks nice, and welcome to :gtplanet:, I've just approved your first thread and another post elsewhere, however, I'd like to draw your attention to the Acceptable Use Policy for the site, particularly this paragraph:

No slang words that promote laziness, ie; “r”, “u”, “plz”, etc. will be tolerated. Decent grammar is expected, including proper usage of capital letters. Repeated violations will be grounds for suspension and/or permanent removal from the forums. All messages must be posted in English.

so please bear this in mind when you continue posting here.

"u" and "wat" aren't permitted here instead of their correctly formatted "you" and "what" spellings.

Thanks.

Wow, very pretty indeed my friend. How long did it take you to build that cockpit? Also how much in materials did you spend on it? I see something very cool in your cockpit, you can actually move the shift closer to you and further from you?? Wow that's very cool.
Looking from only 2 pictures, I would say, 5 star!

Hi guys, thanks alot for the compliments, well believe it or not it toke me 4 days to make.Thought about it on a monday , thursday night it was done, ready to play. The whole seat is adjustable seat moves, gear lever moves, steering column moves up and down and in and out. The poles that connect the seat to the steering unit moves forward and back. Basically the whole seat is adjustable and when its taken apart it fits on the seat. So it can be stored away very easily. The seat can be used as a chair in your room on its own without all the attachments. Anymore questions guys feel free to ask me.

Here is few more pics of the razor 2000,enjoy.

It's beautiful, man. Kudos to you; I think one particular thing of note is that you designed a cockpit which shifter stand can be switched from either the right or left side. That's not too common a thing to see on self-designed cockpits, as they usually just place the stand on whatever side their country's standard is.

Thanks guys, the seats will be up for sale soon, and it will be very well priced. As you see in the picture, now options every thing included gear lever as well.

I knew it sounded like you were selling something. It does look like a great seat though, very well thought out.

I built the seat the same time gt prolog came out, built it for myself, but when ever people saw it they where amazed. So peolpe asked me to make them a seat, mostly family though, never thought of sell them.Until i saw there was a market for it.Just wanted to here wat other gt players thought about it.

Very nice race cockpit you've built! It's apparent you're very talented in both your design and craftsmanship!

Here's something to consider for those true 'race fanatics'...who like to take their sim racing to the next level, who might be interested in purchasing your product:

(1) Allow for the addition of a 'butt-kicker' to be added both under the seat and up near the wheel mount base.

Butt-Kicker info is found here:

(2) Include, as an 'up-sale' of course, speaker stands, which installed, would allow for rear speakers to be mounted behind the seat, as well on the sides of the front section..and if possible, a mount for a center speaker so the use of a 5.1+ surround sound system can be utilized...such as seen in the image below:

(3) A 2nd "optional" stand, albeit not as high, for the use of a handbrake, on either side of your race cockpit....as seen in the image below:

As someone who has a 3rd party racing cockpit, seen below:

It wasn't really built for any 3rd party shifters, nor a hand-brake and I had to do a little 'customization', which considering how much I paid for it back in 03', was somewhat of a disappointment...Thus, if someone like me were to come along as a potential client, I would expect that even though not part of the main package, the merchant/seller (You) would have a few 'additional accessories' available that would allow me to expand on the base setup.

Also, I would hope to expect that your race cockpit would offer a wide range of movement for all aspects, such as pedal base mount, wheel stand mount and seat, such as in the picture below:

Speaking of 'accessories' and 'up-sells', I would consider a TV mount, strong enough of supporting a HDTV up to AT LEAST 36" (inches), to further the immersion factor.

As it stands now, your price point puts you in a very competitive market, with the likes of:

1. VirtualRoadster.com
2. GamerCockpit.com.au
3. Gamepod.co.uk
4. VisionRacer.com

So, you'll need to ensure that your cockpit, should you truly elect to take this to mass production, provides similar functionality, but also the same type of 'accessories', as well as allowing for some minor customization on the end-users part, as it's pretty evident that at a price of $700, you're probably going to get more sales from the PC raceing community, then you would from the 'gaming' community.

Again, very nice work and I wish you much success in your business venture.
