Hey all,
Just thought that I would give you all props for being such richeous drifters. I am a drifter over here in Okinawa Japan, (OOO RAH MARINE CORPS) and I just have to say that if I saw half of the stuff that I see in these videos actually done on the streets than drifting would be a lot more entertaining. I drive a 1992 GTS-t Nissan Skyline (RWD model for those who don't know) and I have to admit that I couldn't phathom doing some of the sideways action that I see performed here. I mean, I've been drifting for a year and a half and (with out bragging) am a pretty good drifter. But some of this stuff is amazing!
I got into this whole GT3 drifting thing on a dare that one of my younger, unlicensed friends challenged me to and I'm hooked, so now, if I'm not eating tires on the mountians or sidestreets , I'm in the game with the FFB (force feed back) wheel perfecting my game. Now I do admit, the game is a LOT . . . .WHOLE LOT . . .easier than real life. But that's only because of the fact that there is no sense of lateral movement in your bedroom. But other than that, I'd have to say it's pretty much the same. Especially with the FFB wheel. So if there are any of you drifters who can use the FFB wheel efficiently (CUDAMAN) then I can't wait to see you guys on the D1 circut next quater. Other than that, just keep at it, and hopefully you'll move on to the next level of drifting.
P.S. I still can't get my GT3 cars to do what some of you guys' cars do. But I'm getting there, and I'll be drifting with the best, hopefully, til then, I'll just challenge all of the Local Japanese on the mountains and intersections.
P.P.S. Who does a Marine have to kill to get into a club, I have a really good aim
Semper Fidelis,
Shadow Drifter
