I don't know anything about tuning.

Is there a way i can learn all these little settings? Like, i own over 100 cars and about half way done extreme mode and never changed any settings. I think GT5 would be way more fun if i tweaked all these tiny settings and knew what they meant and what to change when.

Look in the MANUAL, everything is explained in there in detail.

Then do trial and errors with some settings and see what happens, then you know what it does.

Drive 2-3 laps on autumring mini for example and set the best lap possible with stock setting, then edit ONE setting only and see if you can beat that time...continue doing so with all the settings.

You will learn fast.

1. read the manuel
2. click the ? marks
3. look around on the GTP forum (maybe something as been posted)

Definitely read the manual, that's what i did. You also need to understand words like understeer (steers too little, front wheels slips and looses traction) and oversteer (steers too much, rear slips out and looses traction).
