Is GT5 going to support Skid Marks 'Tire marks'? and why all the previous versions never supported this.

I just don't understand why K.Y isn't implementing this feature in such a game. i mean all the detailes and physics and no skid marks?

Just imagine what would it be like performing burnouts and drifts and having the tire smoke and skid marks everywhere.

and one more thing. whats the use of not announcing the release date after all these years!!.

so in the end i just want to know whats more important to guys or what would u guys prefare, Skid marks or Damage??? i my self go for skid marks.

We've no idea why. You should ask Polyphony Digital. :sly:

We do know that we like our topics here to have clear titles and that "txt speek" is prohibited by the Acceptable Use Policy that you agreed to when you registered your account here.

"You" is a 3 letter word. Please type it as such. Sentences should have capital letters and apostrophes where applicable are nice too.

You can use the "Edit" button in the bottom right corner of your post to make changes. You can also use the "Go Advanced" option to edit the thread title to something more sensible.

Personally tyre marks don't bother me, I've no interest in wasting time by doing burnouts and drifting. Damage on the other hand would make the game far more entertaining by deterring people from driving like they're in a demolition derby.

Alright. So I've dared to answer your question. What's my prize?

I think it will encourage some people just to smash the cars into each other.

Tire tracks so you can see where you slid on the previous lap and remind yourself to take it easier.

Tire marks yea!

Anyways, I voted for tires as say the damage affected your car, so If punters gave you some hassel you'd be screwed.

Plus crash and... you crash GAME OVER...

Also gotta get some tire marks for the drift 👍

i'm not really interested in damage, i rarely go off the track far enough to hit the wall and i don't hit people in races, or if i do it would only make a scratch

crash simulation i'm not really interested in, if its there its there but it really doesnt bother me.

Have you ever seen a game that is suppose to be "THE REAL RACING SIMULATOR" without real time skid marks?? Mario kart has, i just don't understand.
